Women & Girls Protecting the Environment

CODPEO is an independent, non-partisan, community-based organisation that was established in 2017 in a coordination of 3 women who saw it wise to have the marginalised women, girls, sex workers conserve the environment while being empowered economically. Seeing rights of women being violated in Kasese, Jovia, Judith and Rose thought of forming a group that would bring women, girls and sex workers together, get empowered and fully exercise their rights.
